Face 2 Face Wrigley Field

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see Billy Joel and Elton John Face to Face at Wrigley.

What a magical evening: two legends playing the hits for three plus hours!

Loved Elton’s eight minute version of Rocket Man!

Billy then capped the encore with Piano Man. Awesome!

Check out the pics below.

I have seen them at the Rosemont, but the Wrigley shows looked interesting. I heard they had trouble with the ticketing so I am glad that you got in.

Yep, you always need a few things to go right for an outdoor concert.

First and foremost, the weather has to cooperate. Then, the acoustics need to be right and finally, you’ve got to able to get in the gates!

Luckily, this all happened and made for an enjoyable night.

About the only downside is the stage roughed up center field quite a bit.

The Cubs spray painted the mangled outfield grass Thursday and will re sod the outfield after the current homestand.
